Here are a handful of things to put on your must-do list once you’ve made the Dallas move.

Reunion Tower Let’s start from the top—the very, very top. Reunion Tower, part of the city’s iconic skyline, offers 360° views of Dallas from a height of nearly 500 feet; restaurant and café options let you linger a little longer.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden These stunning, sprawling gardens encompass 66 acres of land tucked alongside White Rock Creek. Pick a pretty afternoon and wear your walking shoes to do some serious exploring!

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza The assassination of President Kennedy took place in Dallas, and this modern museum explores his life and legacy through a 1960s lens. It offers a unique historical experience in a convenient downtown location.

Dallas Museum of Art This stunning collection of more than 5,000 years of art is free to view for all visitors—spend a few hours exploring paintings and sculptures, special exhibits and artist events.

Nasher Sculpture Center With indoor and outdoor galleries featuring sculptures from the likes of Picasso, de Kooning, Calder and Matisse, the Nasher Sculpture Garden is cultural oasis in the heart of downtown.

Bishop Arts District Ready for a little retail therapy? Hop on the DART and head to the Bishop Arts District for block after block of boutiques, restaurants and bars.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra Full orchestras, small bands and even movies with live musical accompaniment are all part of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s program at the stunning Morton H. Meyer Symphony Center.
